Molly was born in Pennsylvania and started to perform professionally in the teen years at the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. Her first professional production was The Snow Queen. She portrayed Little Red Ridinghood shortly after her appearance in Arden Theater s Into the Woods production, for which she won an Barrymore Award nomination. This role she performed again when making her Broadway debut at 15 in the production of Into the Woods, on Broadway. Molly was nominated as one of the nominees for a Drama League Award. Molly was in Broadway in the 2004 production of Fiddler on the Roof. Then, she attended Princeton University and was a part of Princeton's Triangle Club. She graduated with a bachelor's degree 2008. Then she attended Princeton University where she was a member of the Triangle Club and received a bachelor's degree in the year 2008. In the same time frame, she made her debut in the role of Wendy Greenhut in Disney's College Road Trip. Molly has performed several Off-Broadway productions including End Days, at Ensemble Studio Theater. In addition, she was a part of television series like Royal Pains or an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was in a variety of regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in the Barrington Stage Company, North Shore Music Theatre as well as Westport Country Playhouse's 2010 performance of The Diary of Anne Frank. She played Anne. Molly's best-known performance is that of Paranormal Activity 2 (2010), in which she portrays Ali the 17-year-old daughter.
