at the age of 14, Ava August performed before a SOLD packed crowd of 3000 people on the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles ahead of the start of a Los Angeles Kings professional hockey game. Ava August's performances with The Los Angeles Dodgers (professional baseball team) as well as the L.A. Galaxy (professional soccer team) were pulled due to COVID-19. Ava August was the youngest performer, and appeared in the 19th season of American Idol aged 15. Ava August won the GOLDEN TICKER during the Audition Round. After that, she advanced to the Genre Round, Duet Round, Showstopper rounds, Celebrity/Solo Top 16, and the Top 10 rounds. America decided to put Ava into the TOP 10 in the country. Ava August performed two originals for American Idol, Neighbor boy and Ghost of You. Ava did a duet which was extremely powerful and awe-inspiring with Josh Groban, an internationally-acclaimed singer. In addition, at the age of 15, Ava August dropped her critically-acclaimed single"Daybreak" Daybreak - which was accompanied by her very first animated music video. On the morning of 11/01/20, Daybreak was played at KX 93.5 FM along with the an hour-long Tropical Surf Hour.
